C drive and D drive

    hi a few months ago i had a virus that shut down my laptop, it took a lot to reboot it again, eventually i was able to reinstall the xp again, now somehow i managed to make the 'C' drive the recovery disk and the 'D' drive has all the other stuff...

    how do i change it with out reinstalling xp and with out losing any info:)
    ps. i don't have an external hard drive.

    Unfortunately you cannot change the drive letter the operating system is on without a great deal of effort. It is safer to reinstall and unplug the D drive as XP can do this if more than one drive is available.
