C++ system function (create coursework submission system)

    I need help creating a program that allows students to submit there assignment then the teacher can view it(download it), grade it and ocmment on it if necesarry. I am so confused i am a beginner in this but i looked at tututials and this is what i have so far i haveriations of different code setups but it suppsoe to be like a console ....

    Short observation
    constint NO_OF_STUDENTS = 25;
    is missing a space. I presume it's a temporary line anyway as you'll want the code to allow the user to input the number of students.

    Am I justified in guessing that this is itself a coursework problem?

    yes it's for my software engineering class but the problem i am havign is i am taking c++ just now and since that the only language i know i had to do it in there and yes your right... I am actually going to see if i can change the whole code all over again hopefully i'll be able to submit it later to day but this is what i have so far that your reading above.

    I don't think I can help a whole lot here, what others do is up to them. But here are a few things that don't look right, of the sort you'll need to watch out for in recreating the code.

    S for student or T for student (?)
    cout << "students[NO_OF_STUDENTS]"; (I would think it should be students if it's going to differ as you use a for statement to test each student.)
    int assignmentcores (0); (typo, missed the s in score)

    I also cannot see any input, neither from the keyboard nor from any files. Likewise there is no way to store the output of the program anywhere.

    so i went back and i finished the codeing part of almost everything and this is what i came up with i have23 errors which is down from 102 so i think that's pretty good considering. it keep saying for my ifstream file when i do assignment.open that i need a ; before the period and also saying my int a is undefined when i declared below

    I don't know for certain, but would suspect the problem with your assignment.open is that you're missing a parameter. You specify the name of the file to open but do not specify the mode to open it in (i.e. append, input, output, etc).

    I would also forsee a bug, though not an error that will stop the compiler, in your calculatelettergrades.

    If the code reaches that elseif then you already know that the grade isn't an F, and it's redundant to check for average >= 60. The redundancy might have some performance impact. The real problem however is that this lower boundary of 60 doesn't actually meet the upper boundary of 59 for the previous grade. If average happened to be 59.5 it couldn't be graded at all by that code.
    The same is true for the other lines in that section.

    alright, will make the changes and also add to it to make it so it will nto cause an error... thanks again for the advice. i will post the results later once i go back through the WHOLE code.
