Windows Installer keeps trying to install CA Personal Firewall. Every time it tries it fails and I get the following message:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

I have attempted to re-install the entire CA Security package and it immediately goes to to attempting to install CA Personal Firewall and fails.

Can anyone tell me how to stop this annoying occurrence????

You might try booting the pc in Safe Mode and run the install, to prevent whatever is causing this.

They want $20.00 to give me tech support!! Screw that...now all I want to do is to uninstall the complete package.. This error I keep getting won't even allow me to uninstall the package. Nor will it let me install any other firewall.

That one did the trick!!! No more Windows Installer trying to install CA Personal Firewall. I have downloaded and installed the firewall you recommended. Thank you ever so much.
