I have two machines running WinMe. I connect to the net via a cable connection running thru a router. On one machine, I cannot get onto the net, while the other machine gets right on, using the same cable. Are there any settings somewhere that I might check to determine the cause? I was able to get on the net with both machines yesterday. I may have inadvertantly changed a network or some kind of connection configuration. Please advise as to what settings should be checked. Thanks. I doubt it's a hardware problem because it was working yesterday. Thanks

Verify that the nic is obtaining ip address automatically or just set up a new connection. As well as verify the nic is working proerly in device manager.
