Just got cable internet and want to network my other computer to take advantage of it. What would be the beat way to go about it in your opinion. Also any links to doing it would be appreciated. Was thinking wireless.

add a router to share the internet and protest your system. if you don't have money to buy a router, use windows ICS (Internet connection sharing). check this page for more details, http://www.howtonetworking.com/icssetup.htm

You can do this with a second NIC ( I use a Linksys USB) and a switch. The downside of this is that the primary computer has to be running for the networked box to connect. With a router this is not an issue. If you opt for the second NIC you will have to set up a small home/business network. Not a big deal and thoroughly documented in M$ Help.

It's really quite easy. Buy a router like this (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pr...10045827&catid=19994&logon=&langid=EN&dept=18) and it's instructions will likely have all the info you need.
