I recently got AT&T's cable modem service. Everything works ok, but I cannot see a cable modem indicator (on the bottom right hand corner of the screen) nor the speed of my connection like how it shows up in a dial-up service. What can I do to set up such an indicator?

Thanks in advance.

I don't believe there is one in 95/98/me. 2K you can put the icon in the systray by going to start/settings/control panel/network and dialup/right click on local area connection, properties, and check the box to show icon in taskbar when connected.

There are probably third party software that will do it but haven't used any.

Best way to get an idea of you connection speed is to go to www.dslreports.com and in the tools section run the speed test.
