I've been noticing a strange occurrence at my website lately. usually, my main logo looks like this:
    <img src="http://toddhisted.com/test/logo2.jpg">

but sometimes it looks like this:
    <img src="http://toddhisted.com/test/logo1.jpg">

Any idea what the problem is?

BTW, these are both print screens I did, the actual file is this one:

Thanks for your help in advance :)

On your machine only, or on others. I just went to your site and it looked fine to me.

could be your video drivers are corrupt or your video card memory is going bad.

    Toddles18,

    "Calling all graphic's experts"

    That leaves me out.:(

Ok from looking at your site it looks ok to me.
I see in the actual file that you have black around the edges and inside the e but in does not match up with the white in the 2nd image.

So maybe what brianF says is true.

I like your site. How did you make it?
Really cool the way you have he menu work and the sounds it makes.
    What program did you use?

Ditto.... everything looks fine to me.

    Great website! :D

I also like your menu. ((Apycom Java Menu Applets 2.84.... it that what you used?)) I like it. :)
Maybe you can give me some pointers. I did my site 100% HTML text. (not including the annoying geocities popups!) www.geocities.com/charlesandalicia Just follow the link on that page to the main site. :)

Yes, I did use a Java applet for my menu, it was free as long as you leave the advertisement that shows in the lower bar when you place your cursor over it. The link to the menu is apycom.com All I did was change the colors and added the links, pretty easy actually. As for Creating the web page this one was the result of me getting mad at my previous free host for deleting months of work because I hadn't logged in in 30 days. And Stupid me didn't have a backup. Doh!! Anyways as for the actual coding I've written webpages in straight HTML before, and found that while it's a learning experience, a difficult task. So now I just fire up my friend Front Page. Makes the easy and tedious stuff really easy, but still allows me to go into the actual HTML and make adjustments that way, and it does tables, I hate coding tables....tr this and td that, forget it. Anyways, I'm glad my page didn't look screwy on any of your browsers, I guess if its going to screw up, better on my browser then anyone elses. Thanks for the kind words as well.

Toddles18---I also took a look at your graphics and could find no problem. It could be your monitor, video card or there could have been a loss of packets when you accessed your site.

I also agree on FrontPage. I hate coding using straight HTML, mainly because I type so slow. I found even with the best editors it takes a long time. FrontPage on the other hand can put a lot on code on a page real quick. Plus you have the added bonus of being able to go back and modifying the code to do what you want. FP has a pretty good drawing/graphics editor built in which also helps. If you think FP deals with tables well try it on setting up frame pages, its just outstanding. Setting frames by typing code has got to be the most mind numbing experience there is and one little mistake and you got garbage. I used it to build the web site I have as well as use it to maintain and update. Its a great program.

I must agree... a very good program. I have been wanting to get at it again and make an actually somewhat useful website but never have time. (and of course... there will be a link to TSG. :D)

    Toddles18,

It would be nice if that is why.

But why don't we see the same as you?

Maybe it's just the way the setting are that we use.

I have a 19" monitor set at 1024x768 High color 16bit with a 64 MB DDR video card.

I just opened your Site and I see many errors.

    (Are you people serious)?

I will list your problems if you like. I'm not being an ------- but what good does it do to praise you for bad work? When you publish something you open yourself to criticism.

    This is HelpOnThe.Net- right?

But not all at once. If you tire of me just say so.

    1. White on black is harder to read than black on white. It also causes eye strain. People will simply stop reading what you have written because it "hurts their eyes".
    2. Not enough contrast between the Blue & Black. (Too close in tonal value).
3.Black bg's are good for porno sites but not for info sites.

Think about it.... If you want more, there's more. (lot's more).

    AZ;)

    Todd,
I also agree with using Front Page. It is much eaiser, but I still like the freedom of HTML. (Yeah, set in my old ways I guess.) HTML is kind of a pain in the @$$ because of the coding. I think I will give FP another try. I also agree (somewhat) with AZ. Blue on black might not be the best color scheme. However, as to it being good for a porno site background..... well WHO looks at the backgrounds at porno sites? My eyes are elsewhere! ;) (**Just kidding!!!!!! Prono sites are the terminal cancer of the world wide web!!!!**)
