can a pci-express slot run an agp card?

    hey im looking to buy a new motherboard and i was wondering if a pci-e can run agp cards?

    if not, can anyone recommend a motherboard that have both pci-e and agp slots?

    Given that a PCI-e slot and an AGP slot are physically very different, there is logically no way that a card could fit both?

    an AGP card wont fit in a PCIe slot, but there are a couple of boards that offer both, not too many, but a few.

    P4

    and i couldnt find one for an AMD system
