NO, unless you have given them when you registered for the board/forum. there is no way anybody except your ISP can find out who was using a particular IP number at any time.

Most forum moderators or owners have the power to ban by user name or IP address.

it is foolish to ban by IP because 90% of people use dial up & the IP number changes everytime they log on so unless the "chick" wants to ban everybody from a particular ISP then blocking IP numbers is pointless.

NO she cannot find out your address details from an IP number

    No it doesn't

THERE IS NO WAY ANYBODY EXCEPT THE AUTHORITIES can get your address details from your IP number and then only with a court order in very serious cases.

    stop being paranoid

IF and I mean a BIG IF you hosted your own website on your home computer on a static IP address, AND you had registered your Domain to your home address, then someone MIGHT be able to determine.

Listen to DVK01, the only other ways would be if the person in question had gotten you to install a trojan which they would then be able surreptiously browse through your system. They would have to be VERY good to be able to that, or you told them.

To be fair the latter is more likely, it's surprising how much information people give away when in chat rooms or on message boards.
