    I'd buy a new HDMI cord. They're pretty cheap.

    Henry he is not using HDMI but display port
    I would try a new display port lead or change to HDMI

    if it has suddenly stopped working properly, it is likely to be a faulty lead or possibly a windows update that has changed something
    While I can't rule out completely a windows update causing it, experience suggests that leads do break down or bend or get broken in so many ways, that it is the more likely problem.
    I am basing this on the fact that you have stated it works properly using HDMI & DVI-D
