i dont know lol, sorry you see i downloaded this map called "bocage dogfight" and it works fine with the other original ones but i then downloaded maps like "tampa highway" "wake island" and they never seem to work in single player yet they come up but when i play online with those maps they work fine?

and my computer only crashes when i try and play "tampa highway" "wake island" etc in singleplayer mode

but i deleted the files i downloaded but they are still there.....

so could yu explain (if yu can) how i can make those other maps work in singleplayer??

¬ Why are you downloading wake island it should come with the original game?(Except highway tampa)
¬ And install highway tampa into "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels" and any other maps you download.
¬ + if you cant get the singleplayer to work try a reinstall it? maybe you've done something when you where downloading and deleting files?
