can data recover?

    Hello friends,

    i have 40 gb harddrive i overwrite one folder with same name.

    is it possible to recover that old folder if yes kindly guide how i can recover that.

    if this computer hasn't been turned off just go back to where the folder is click on edit undo

    thanx smash (y) but i lost that try also,its restarted many times after that :)

    hey there,

    im not very technical but i had a similar problem before and used a prog called 'restoration.exe' its made by a guy called brian kato, search for it on google and it's easily found.

    i hope thsi is of soem use to you and there should be many faq's online or perhaps previous posts on tg.

    lol couch master lets hope it wasn't 40 gig of xxx, cos that would be a very sad day for poor manishkul hehe
