Can I access my Linux partition from Vista partition

    I recently downloaded Windows Vista on a separate partition from my linux , but the thing is i actually wanted to completely convert to Vista. So i was wondering if i could access files from my linux partition from linux or should i just dual boot it and save important files on a flash disk.....
