Can I create a restore cd from partition using Recovery Console?

    it says it all in the title really.

    Can I create a restore cd from my HP partition using the Recovery Console? as I cant boot to desktop.

    Why not just boot to the recovery partition directly?

    Thanks for the reply, Sorry for being so dumb but how? I can only access the Windows recovery console at the moment.

    I think with hp it's F10 at boot. One of the "F's" anyway. Let me know, will you?:)

    arhhh, F10 goes to the recovery console aswell, F8 works but only allows you to select the recovery console. so really I can only access the Recovery console. I can logon to:
    1: D:\MinINT
    2: D:\I386
    3: C:\Windows.

    I have run chkdsk /r still nothing. Any ideas.

    Why not 2: D:\I386?

    That should be the backup:)
