Alright so i was cleaning out a bunch of junk in my closet a whole bunch of old computers and parts and everything and i found one of those old gateway computers were the monitor was connected to the base like the picture at the bottom. And the monitor is not attacted to the base anymore and i can see video and power cables coming from it. My monitor currently is garbage and is on the verge of dying any time now. Since the gateway one is like a flat screen and i could build a base to support it is their anyway i can connect the monitor to my computer.

That would depend on how the monitor was originally interfaced to the machine.
