I installed a hard drive from my old computer into my new computer to be used as a second drive for storing pictures, music etc. Can I delete the Windows XP operating system on tis drive to free up space and if so how do i do it? Thanks for the help.

Right click on the drive you have installed and pick format (if it has NOTHING on it). If it has items you want to keep move them off the drive you installed and then format it and move them back onto it. Lastly if you don't have space to move around files then delete out Docuemtns and settings, windows, and program files directories.
