can I restore a corrupted recycle bin - I need some files I deleted

    My recycle bin is loaded full but shows nothing in it. I think, though can't be sure, that this happened due to an installation of Norton Ghost -- the only major installation lately. Right click gives a pop up stating a corrupted bin. I unistalled Ghost but same problem exists. I have Norton Utils. installed as well.

    I know I can do a command line deletion of the recycle bin and have it renewed upon reboot, but is there any way to get at the files inside -- I deleted something important I want to restore. thanks
