Can not execute dpvsetup.exe when testing sound hardware

    OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3, 32 bit
    Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz, x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 4
    Processor Count: 1
    RAM: 639 Mb
    Graphics Card: RADEON 9000 Family (Microsoft Corporation), 64 Mb
    Hard Drives: C: Total - 57231 MB, Free - 49151 MB;
    Motherboard: Micro Star, MS-6567V2
    Antivirus: Microsoft Security Essentials, Updated: Yes, On-Demand Scanner: Enabled

    When I'm testing the sound hardware, I always receive the error message: 0x80004005 +
    another message which says: 'Could not execute DpvSetup.exe' The result is I cannot
    record outboard sounds on my computer.

    Direct voiceplay and it's already installed.
