Whenever I try to open text file attchments in email, the message "This application has failed to start because ELib10.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem" appears. This does not happen when I try to open picture attachments. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

When posting, always state your OS and version numbers along with names of programs involved in your problem. The correct answers can depend on this vital information.

ELib10.dll is not a Microsoft OE file. Not sure what it would belong to. Did you install or uninstall software around the time your problem came up? Or maybe a virus?

You could try repairing Internet Explorer. OE is part of it.
