can outlook recieve emails while pc is shut down

    OK my brother wants me to set him up an email address on outlook with his business name in the domain in the email address how do I do that and also if outlook is closed or the pc is shut down and someone sends an email in that time will it be arrive in his inbox the next time outlook is up and running or will the sender be told the email address doesn't exist thanks guys Happy New Year

    The message will be received and held by whatever mail server is being used for his domain name account(s). He can have Outlook set to automatically connect to the mail server and download all new incoming messages as soon as Outlook starts to run on the computer.

    Once you have your domain name and email address setup, outlook can connect to the mail server with the pop3 or imap settings provided by your email provider.
