Hi
I have been experiencing very slow web page loading and downloads, I have complained to my ISP but just to make sure there is nothing wrong on my end that could be causing it, could someone have a quick check of this HiJack This Log for me please.

Thankyou

Okay I did that and it was checked, now unchecked, tried to download something a minute ago and I am still getting only about 12 to 18 Kb/s download speed which is woeful, would I need to restart my computer before the changes take effect or should it be instant ?????

You only need to restart Internet Explorer.

As for the proxy server, it has been put there by your ISP, iprimus.

Try the following:

Try refreshing your DNS resolver cache by following these steps:

Click Start > Programs > Accessories > right-click on Command Prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.

In the Command Prompt, type: ipconfig /flushdns

Reboot.

If no luck,

Again, in the Command Prompt, type in the bold text, one command after the other, pressing Enter between each of them:

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults: netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

Reset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults: netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

Reboot the machine.

If still no luck,

Try using Google Public DNS.

Or, OpenDNS.

No luck on both counts, still hovering around the 12 to 14 Kb/s. Did the OpenDNS and followed the prompts it did not tell me to reboot this time so I have not done, did reboot for the other two attempts though, tried to download and as I mentioned still getting the 12 to 14 Kb/s.
