Yesterday I was doing a routine check, going thru my computer. I went to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services. In there was C-DillaCdaC11BA, and it said it was started. So i looked thru the web, realized what it was and immediately diabled it.

From there, I went to have a look-see in the registry. I found 3 registry keys labeled LEGACY-C-DillaCdaC11BA. I tried to delte the keys, it wouldn't allow me. I did a little more checking and found that it had wrote itself to my Master Boot Record.

So, I went to each registry key, right-clicked and chose PERMISSIONS, and allowed all the permissions, and methodically set out to delete each registry key. After doing this, all the keys were removed.

Next, I booted up with my WIN XP PRO cd, and went into recovery console and re-wrote the Master Boot record. I restarted. Went back to Administrative tools and Services in teh control panel, and it was gone. I checked the registry, gone there as well.

Today i started my computer, and was on for about 3 hours, and just had an inkling to check it out again, and it is BACK!! It was running in my services and instead of 3 registry keys I now have 4.

From what I have been reading, turbo Tax is notorious for this, but I have NEVER had Turbo Tax or any tax software for that matter.

How do I find where this is coming from, stop it, and get rid of it once and for all??

I did disable it in my services again, and removed all the registry keys once again, but I want it off my system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As a final note: I always use Spybot and it does not detect this C-dilla junk.
