    Remove these entries from HJT

    Go to add/remove programs and uninstall "ComcastSUPPORT".

    Reboot to safe mode, enable viewing of hidden/system files and then delete these files:

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\72413271.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\wdskctl.exe

    Dear Nok1, et al;

    I hope this is not too late to reply to this post.

    I have a similar scenario, and I have the following line in my Hijack This Log:
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wdskctl] C:\WINDOWS\wdskctl.exe

    However I don't have the other lines you suggested that Savage2303 remove. Here is the line that I also suspect:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {54EC170F-6EB1-47C6-9C4D-EB0BE20CE45E} - C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLOADED PROGRAM FILES\APHELPER.DLL

    I also suspect everything that mentions this "AdBlock".

    Hoping that I am not breaking some protocol I am pasting the complete log below. Thanks in advance for any advice.

    I have perhaps "hijacked" this thread. My mistake. I will repost the previous message as a new thread. Thanks for your understanding.
