Working on some older model computers, have a really old HD that I am wondering about putting in to a slightly newer computer. The hard drive comes from a cpu that has 5.44 floppy drive so I assume it is very old and very small. Am I gonna blow up?

Thanks for any help you can offer

it should be ok, as long as its still a pata drive. There shoudlnt be any problems. Except it will probably be <1gb.

I agree with Easy. It should detect it, since IDE connection technology really hasn't changed. Hardly seems worth the trouble though, since it's likely a teensy weensy hard drive. You could probably fit more onto a USB flash drive. ;)
