Cannot access IMAP subfolders on Samsung Galaxy

All,

I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (similar to the Note 4, or S5) running KitKat 4.4.

I have a couple of IMAP accounts where I have created some subfolders. With the Samsung Email Client I cannot get to access those subfolders. With other clients (K-9, MailDroid...) I can but they have other deficiencies so I'd really like the Samsing Email Client tp be able to do the job.

Any thoughts?
