My BT smart hub manager software should be accessed by using the above address in the address bar of any browser. However I recently started receiving the message 'Your Internet access is blocked'. The hub works without hindrance when internet browsing but there is a problem printing with the wireless connection (this may or may not be related but one problem at a time).
I am using Windows 10 on a Dell XPS tablet machine.
Anti virus software is supplied by Kaspersky total security. The only advice I've received so far concerns adjusting 'something' in my Kaspersky setup or in the Windows firewall that may be preventing my machine from connecting to the given address.
I also have NORDVPN installed - tho' currently switched off.
Then again maybe none of these things have caused the problem.
My question is - does anyone have any notion of why this problem has occurred and how I might correct it?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Regards

    BPD

    1. As a first possible solution try clicking this link
    http://bthomehub.home/

    2. What is not quite clear to me is - are you receiving this message ONLY when you try and access the hub
OR are you receiving the message, sometimes, when you try and access the web

HOW is the message displayed and what is the full text of the message please

    3. Open a cmd prompt with admin rights
    type
    ipconfig /all
    press enter

what is IP address of default gateway

Hi and thanks for your response.

After attempting http://bthomehub.home/ I got the message 'This site can't be reached' - I assume that this attempts to do what 192.168.1.254 attempts to do. However the error message from using the ip address ( 192.168.1.254) directly is: 'Your internet access is blocked - Firewall or antivirus software may have blocked the connection.'

Your request re: the default gateway:
This is absent when the VPN is switched on otherwise it is :192.168.1.254 (nb.- this value coincides with the value given for the DHCP server).

If there's anything else I can do to clarify matters then please let me know.

Please do as asked by my colleague
    My guess it is Kaspersky
Have you tried accessing the hub, if possible. from another computer, which does not have Kaspersky.

If you have only just found this problem and therefore do not know when the access was blocked AND you do not have the latest version/update of Kaspersky 2018 then my money is on that
