cannot connect network issues

    alrighty so basicly im trying to access itunes store to download
    applications for my iphone , but when i try to log in i get

    "We Could not complete your iTunes Store request. The Network
    connection timed out.

    Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection
    is active , then try again"

    and i know my computer has an active connection i can see everything
    in the itunes store , surf the net everything
