I'm currently having problems deleting two files that are on my Desktop.
One file is hurl.exe and the second is aawsepersonal.exe.

I tried deleting these in Safemode, and in the cmd promt. But no luck yet.

Anyone have any suggestions? Each time I load up cmd prompt, I type del hurl.exe but it says it cannot find file. Ive tried typing in the exact file destination after del but no luck with that either. As you can probably tell I'm not very familular with using dos prompt. ;)

If anyone has any suggestions on getting rid of these files either by special programs or using cmd prompt, etc.. I would truely appreciate it.

p.s. I did a search on these forums for hurl.exe and found a solved thread from a person who had the exact same problem. But I couldn't get the solution stated to work. I never really use cmd prompt so I'm sure i was typing something wrong.. Usually it just tells me It cannot find file, etc..

Thx

These files are in use by Windows. I do believe that hurl.exe has something to do with playing a song that requires it. At anyrate, can you do a Ctrl+Alt+Del and stop hurl.exe? Then do a delete.

The other is Ad-Aware Personal edition setup. Is it not?

Well that Moveon program worked and the annoying files are gone!

Thanks a bunch for the help :)
