Can someone tell me how to get command.com back onto a system when it can't find the command interperter. I've tried to copy from boot disk and the sys c: command but it can't interepret them. Thanks

When sys c: doesn't work for this, and it never seems to, the error probably means that the drives partition info has been hosed.

Use your boot disk again and at the a:\> prompt enter:

    fdisk /status

Is the partition info correct? Drive size recognized?

    k, here's what happened when I ran fdisk /status

    Disk DRV MBytes Free Usage
    1 C: 6194 100%
    6194

I know this can't be good b/c the usage should never be 100% but does anyone know if it is a virus or just a HD crash and if anything can be done to fix it? Thanx again for your help.

That's kind of what I thought would happen. Thanks for your help and God bless.
