    I have tried everything to restore internet connectivity but to no avail. It appears that I have lost my internet protocol version 4 to a corrupt registry. I do not understand how it got off. How can i restore it?

    What windows version do you have ?

    Enable IPv4:

    1. Hold the Windows key and type R, enter "ncpa.cpl" (without the quotes) and press Enter
    2. Right click on each network connection and select "Properties"
    3. Is the checkmark for the box next to "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) - ticked - if NOT tick it
    4. Click OK to exit the dialog

    NOTE: You should do this for each network connection.

    if ipv4 was ticked
    would you post the following information

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    {ipconfig /all}
    If you cannot access the internet with this PC, then you will need to paste the results into something like notepad and then copy onto a machine that can access the internet and post results here
