Here's what I've got:
Dell PowerEdge 650 w/ 80G hard drive.
i loaded Free BSD but kept getting write and read errors.
So, I called support...it's not a bad hard drive or anything..i figured it's a bad partition, but when I go to reload Free BSD it act like it installs it again, but now i get worse errors. I loaded the CDenab.exe onto a floppy disk. This disk contains Debug.exe, fdisk, scandisk, and so forth.
I cannot get the debug to work(or i don't know how) and I cannot get the fdisk to format the hard drive. I try to enter fdisk c: and it says that either it cannot format a network drive or that c is not a valid drive.
Any suggestions? All i want to do is totally format my hard drive to I can start anew.
Thanks ahead of time for any help on this!!
