I deleted my printer than put it back in. It says my printer is ready but when I try to print it says "I need a driver"
I go to the drivers and try and load one but I cannot get it to work.
    Can someone help me?

whats the make and model of the printer - and is this on a windows XP PC

You may want to remove the printer completely and reinstall the software that came with the printer

    remove printer drivers
    Open Printers and Faxes.
On the File menu, click Server Properties, and then click the Drivers tab.
In the Installed printer drivers list, click the driver you want to remove, click Remove, and then click Yes to confirm.

To open Printers and Faxes, click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes.

We can't help you without having certain information.

What version of Windows is installed?

What's the brand name, model name, and model number of the printer?

    Hiya roxeen.

Did you get a driver CD with the printer when you bought it? If so, try re-running the CD again and see if it`ll over-write the existing driver files.

If for some reason you can`t run the CD, unplug the printer and uninstall the existing software from either Add/Remove Programs and/or the Programs list in the Start menu and download the relevant drivers from the manufacturers website which we could maybe help you with if you give us the make & model number as has been suggested.
