I have a C6537 and whenever I try to get into bios (using tab) it tells me to press F2 to get into Bios setup and after I click F2 it goes to a black screen with a underscore blinking + I see no hard drive activity.... Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks alot!

I'm not sure about using the TAB. Just start tapping the F2 key upon starting.......

When I hold down delete I get something that says: Media Shield detecting array... It stays on the screen.

And F2 just brings me to a boot menu.

You do not hold down the del key; just keep tapping it during post.

Next why are you attempting to access the bios? What are you trying to accomplish?

Yeah, I tapped it the second time I tried.

It didn't work.. Just gives me a black screen with a underscore flashing.
I am trying to change the boot setting to USB removal first.

Answer the question, what are you trying to do?

Have you read your manual as to the correct key or key combo to hit for access to the bios?

Everything I can find indicates either F2 or the DEL key.

Have you tried pulling the pw connectors from ALL drives both hd and optical, disconnect any usb type device. Now pw ON and attempt to enter the bios.

You are using a ps2 type keyboard and not a usb type keyboard, correct?
