We had a problem with windows not letting us do e-sign on a particular program. Tried fixing it and tech support for the program said it was a windows issue and I needed to repair windows which I did. Now I cannot get on internet explorer version 7. It will not let me reach the internet. I can ping gateway, dns server and yahoo.com but I cannot navigate there on the internet. I have checked and the firewall is off. Any ideas?

I rebooted to the MS Windows XP Professional SP3 disk and did not repair with the recovery console but reloaded and repaired as the last option which reloads all files back on windows.
