Cannot get XP to take Windows updates

I cannot get the following Windows Updates to install:

(3) Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86

(KB2742596), (KB2729450), (KB2604092)

(1) Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86

(KB2756918)

(1) Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86

(KB982168)


Here are my specs:

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz, x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 10
Processor Count: 2

Graphics Card: Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family, 224 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 308921 MB, Free - 256349 MB;
Motherboard: Dell Inc., 0HH807
Antivirus: Bitdefender Antivirus, Updated: Yes, On-Demand Scanner: Enabled

Thank you for replying :)

I just went to the first one and while I thought it was going to work, it didn't. I have tried twice now to reply and copy/paste the error it gave me but it times out and won't go through? Too long maybe?

Microsoft error code was 0x643 if that helps

Neither method worked, I have to get ready for work now, hopefully in the next day or two I can get back to this. This is my hubby's computer I'm trying to fix.
