I had previously plugged in an old webcam in my PC to use with Skype. But since then, even after removing the cam I cannot hear any sounds, including videos and system sounds. I can only hear them while calling on Skype. I tried uninstalling Skype and performing System restore but there is no improvement. This is driving me crazy and any help would be much appreciated.
