I just got a new laptop but it does not pay back audio. There is no device installed. I thought that would be easy to activate some kind of existing window 10 device but I can't make any progress. I follow the instructions given but no good! what am I doing wrong and can you help? thanks

Can you please confirm what is in your Device Manager.

Also what is the make/model/serial number of your new laptop?

You should capitalize on the warranty as you have just over 30 days left. The warranty also has on-site repairs (usually a contractor that will replace whatever part/s you need. If Device Manager doesn't have the sound device in it, then you most likely have an hardware issue.
