Is it possible that my Lexmark Z13 is not compatible with Windows Vista? I cannot install it on my new laptop. I've downloaded the driver from the same site where I first downloaded it for my old pc (Windows XP). I've done everything the same (unzipped the files etc) but it won't run. Can anybody help please? Thanks.

Try right clicking on the setup file and click
    run as administrator.

All the info I find, and it's pretty old, says Vista does not support that printer.
Will it tomorrow or the next day? Who knows. Good luck.:)

Just to add, for new products the same problem may occur-- Lex has a workaround: google for it.

I would just get one of the free after rebates/coupons for just about any hardware, rather than trying to put up with lack of os support, not to mention ancient technology(or double boot xp and use printer from within it): coming to mind especially-- printers/scanners/mice/webcams.

To boot, a lot of these peripherals will have diminished functionality under Vista as opposed to XP.
