Cannot network 32-bit and 63-bit Win7 machines

    Starting to pull my hair out over this...

    Had two 32-bit Windows 7 machines and they networked seamlessly using Homegroup. Have now replaced one of those machines with a beast running 64-bit Windows 7.

    For the life of me, I cannot get them to see each other. Here's what I've tried:
    • both on same wireless network,
    • both set to Home Network,
    • tried creating Homegroups on both computers,
    • not just turned off all Firewalls but actually uninstalled all AV software,
    • run the Homegroup Troubleshooter many, many times.

    Any ideas anyone?
