    Hello,

I have 4 computers on my network. 3 desktops and 1 laptop, 1 desktop is wired, 2 desktops and the laptop are wireless. This morning when I turned my laptop on I could not get on the network or the internet. The message on the computer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen says "Limited or no connectivity. The 2 wireless desktops work as always as with the one that is wired. I have reset the router and removed the wireless adapter from the laptop and reinstalled. still cannot connect. It does show the internet on the software. I am totally lost as to why 2 will connect but my laptop won't. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

    Thanks,

    John

Does the laptop connect successfully by ethernet?

While attempting to connect by both ways please show ...

Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:
(For Vista or 7 type CMD in the Search box after Start)

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.

That appears to be a good wireless connection to a router, but no ethernet (except for the bridge).

With that wireless connection try these pings in a Command prompt window.

ping 192.168.0.65 (or whatever the current wireless address is)

    ping 192.168.0.1

    ping 69.147.125.65

    ping yahoo.com
