hello guys, i really need help, my computer is in great trouble.

Currently i have a windows 7 pc, it started our with a warning and ended with catastrophe. I was just browsing the internet at the moment i was watching a movie, first there was a warning that pops up, the warning came from panda free antivirus, i have been using it since the beginning of my computer, it says "the parameter is incorrect" and then every single software has it too, i cant open a single thing even google chrome and what not, so i tried restarting my computer and everything goes worse.

now everytime i opened a software it says the parameter is incorrect and then the shortcut will be automatically deleted, i cant remember the exact alert because now everytime i open an app it says "program cant be open, COMCTL32.DLL is missing from your computer, try reinstalling" the thing is i cant open anything even installer, and now the alert is either that or the shortcut is either missing or has been moved.

can anybody help me, i cant open any antivirus either i cant install anything and i cannot do anything with my computer, i need help.

sorry for my bad english btw, and thanks for reading in advance please help me.

Go into Safe Mode and try a System Restore to a previous date when there were no problems.

Hi,

I have two types of concern on this..

First one, I believe your shortcuts don't work anymore, try the LNK fix here for windows 7: http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/file-asso-fixes-for-w...

Secondly, Virus/rootkit is almost certainly be the problem. Try running malwarebytes (free download). If you are badly infected, the virus may block attempts to run antivirus. If you cannot get the problem resolved, your best option will be to copy all of your important data to a second drive and do a fresh windows install. Once the install is complete, download malwarebytes again and scan the drive where you stored your data for any leftovers problems.

Try this two solutions , and update us..!!!

let's try this:

Go here, then click the large blue "Download Now @ Bleeping Computer" button to download and save AdwCleaner.exe to your desktop.

Close all open windows first, then double-click AdwCleaner.exe to load its main window.

Click the Scan button, then allow the scanning process to finish.
(Note: There may be several seconds delay before the progress bar appears, so be patient.)

Click the Report button.

When the log appears, save it.

Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE log here.

vembutech,

Because you are simply copying replies from other sites and as a result posting broken links as well as giving unauthorized malware removal advice, this, together with previous infractions has led to a 24 hour temporary banning of your account.
