    Hi there,

I have an HP Office-Jet Pro 8725 All in one. The previous manager set up the printer to only print in black and white. I would like to print in color. However, after rummaging through ALOT of cabinets, I am unable to find a disc to the printer. Are there any other ways I can print in color? When I try it says "You do not have permission to use this printer. Please contact the person who set up the printer". Any ideas on how I can access the printer to be able to use color?

No, I have not contacted HP as of yet.

    Please advise.

You didn't say which Windows version and bit number your computer is running.
Click "Software And Drivers - Go", then select the correct Windows version and bit number.
The link for the full-feature software driver package will appear.
    Download and save it.
Close all open windows first, then double-click the saved file to install it.
    Follow the instructions from there.

THIS instructional guide should to be helpful to you in selecting the correct print settings.

It's possible you will need administrator privileges or have to make the changes on the server if it's a deployed printer. Or it may be a setting in the printer configuration itself. Also what if they still don't want you to print in color and you are going to break policy and get in toruble for messing with a work computer and/or printer? It's probably best you talk to current management or IT.
