I have Windows ME and use AOL as my ISP however, since downloading IE6 I cannot print anything from the internet.

I had no problem with the previous version of IE and can still print from all word/excel docs. Now everytime I attempt to print pages from the internet I receive the following

    Internet Explorer Script Error

An error has occurred in the script on this page
    Line 508
    Char 1
    Error Permission denied
    Code 0
    URL res://C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue yes/no

I am a very inexperienced user and do not know how to resolve this problem. I have a Canon S750 printer and have uninstalled reinstalled this without success.

Can you give me some advice on how I can solve this problem(expressed step by step and as simply as possible)

    Thank you

    Jeff

First, try repairing Internet Explorer: Control Panel > Add/REmove Software > MS Internet Explorer > Remove > Repair IE.

If no joy, uninstall and reinstall your printer software.

If it still won't work, go to Internet OPtions > Advanced, and UNcheck "Enable third party browser extensions".

Click OK, shut down and restart Internet Explorer.

    Tell us whether that helps.
