20190212_083020[1].jpg I hope you can help me because I am at the end of my rope here. As you can see in the photo, when I try to print to my Google Cloud printer from my Chromebook, I get a very limited dialog box with no option for two-sided printing. There is no "advanced settings" or "print from system dialog box." From my Windows devices I have the option for two-sided printing and it works fine.

Now for the background. I have a silver Samsung Chromebook that has been giving me a proper print dialog box for years. Last week I bought a gray Samsung Chromebook and as soon as I set it up, the problem started occuring on BOTH Chromebooks! The older silver Chromebook is Samsung XE303C12-A01US. The new gray Chromebook is Samsung XE501C13-K02US.

The printer is an Epson WF-4630. I called Epson and they said it's not their problem. I went to a tech support group at our library and their Chromebook guy couldn't fix the problem. I did an online chat session with Samsung and they couldn't help.

I have gone to the url for the printer and tried re-registering it as a Cloud Printer and it didn't fix the problem. Should I try setting up my printer as a Classic Printer instead of a Cloud Printer?

Could the problem be that there was an automatic update to both Chromebooks that caused this problem? I am at a total loss. Help please!

I resolved the problem myself. There was also a problem with the scrollbar disappering and I was reasearching it. The website https://appuals.com/fix-chrome-scrollbar-disappears told me to go to chrome::/flags/#overlay-scollbar and disable it. I did that and now my scrollbar is always there. Then I decided to look for a flag regarding print preview and found #enable-new-print-preview and disabled it. Now I have the old print preview which gives me the option for two sided printing.

I am SO grateful for finding the information about chrome::/flags!!!! I get so frustrated with Chrome because it seems that there are so many different places you have to look in order to find the flag, setting, option, or extension you need. Does anyone know of a good book or website that covers all the vagaries of configuring Chrome or Chromebooks?

Thank for all the help given here. That's why I was glad to share this hint.

I don't own a Chromebook but might buy one for my husband when Win 7 support ends. I'll search for your post if I find I have issues.
