When I go to control panel>add/remove programs and try and remove McAfee Virus Scanner there is an error in the page and the uninstall stops... Any ideas how to fix this / delete it?

    dragoonsgl,

    Try this site:

    McAfeeHelp Technical Support

You didn't mention which version of McAfee or OS you have, so select the appropriate software version from the Product or Topic drop-down menu, then select Install/Uninstall in the Category' drop-down menu.

From the options it gives, select the appropriate uninstall instructions for your OS.

Try the 'Force Uninstall' option before attempting the 'Manual Removal' instruction.

As Ratboy stated we need to know which version of McAfee you are using. This way we can help you remove it.
