I have a program (Madden Football 2002) which is appearing ONLY on my Add/Remove Programs list in XP. It will not let me delete or uninstall the program using Add/Remove, NOR will it let me install the program - I get various error messages like "Error - Module Corrupted" or "Registry Error: Setkey-folder". The CD is fine, because it will work in other computers and the program USED to work just fine. I went in the registry and removed every mention of "Madden" and deleted any files/folders relating to Madden.

Did the program create ti's own unistall icon in the folder it created? Remove it from there if it did.

Nope...the only place that Madden is mentioned anywhere is in the Add/Remove Programs folder. There is no uninstall icon.

Go back to Regedit, and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
Remove Madden there, and it'll be gone from the Add/Remove applet.

Good luck,

I am having the same problem with Madden 2002. The game was playing fine, but when I tried to play today, instead of taking me into the game, it tried to take me the installshield program as if it were going to install the game. But then that program shuts down and gives me the message: "Registry appears to be corrupted. Can't continue. (SetKey-Folder)". If I go to the uninstall program the same thing happens. I just want to be able to play the game. If that means having to uninstall and start over, I'll do that if I have to. Any help would be nice. Thanks!
