Cannot run Mpeg on win2000

    Today is my first day here, My machine is a pII with 256 Ram running win200server with active directory on it , from recent days I cannot watch any movies or movie clips on it it seems to be running frame by frame & also the voice breakes is there anybody who can advice me to solve this problem

    I have tried with Media player 9 , Div X player 2.1, Xing Player but still the same with all these , it was woring 4 months ago with all these players perfecty
