The math symbols do not appear properly.

I wish to be able to read math symbols. Is there a font I need to install, an Office 2007 feature I need to install? I already have Equation Editor installed.

Did you receive a file that has them in it or are you trying to insert some in a file of yours?

I want to see math symbols. I do not want to insert any math symbols.

Select Insert, then the "Equation" icon on the right end of the ribbon bar. There you will be taken to a Design ribbon bar and the equation symbols should be displayed.

Then this is a file that you have received from someone else. It appears that you do NOT have the required font installed on your machine. Or this file was not done in Word.

Contact them and ask what font they used to do the equations?

I wish someone knew the font though. It was authored by Office 2007 on another computer. I'm going to copy the fonts from that computer.
