Cannot see pictures in G Mail

    Hi guys i have asked this question around a month ago.. and still in the same position .. problem is when i rec an e mail < with attached pictures > .. i can read the text but no pictures, just a framed box and red cross in the corner , i have a new Packard bell pc with windows 7 and 64 bit system .. things i have tried so far are ..
    settings button .. in G Mail Always display external content (such as images) sent by trusted senders -
    also have tried disabling HTTPS ..
    have also tried tools/ internet options/ security tab custom level and making sure mixed content is enabled under misc ..also made sure under advanced tab that 'show photo's' is enabled .. ive run out of idea's .. would be very happy if any of you guys can help sove this for me .. thankyou so much for your time ..     Send yourself an email with a known good image and see if it displays.
    Your nonrespondent may be sending bad attachments.
