Okay, so basically, I defragmented my hard drive. Afterwards, I restarted my computer. Now, when I try to start my laptop, it always freezes when the little blue bars are moving. The only way I can get it to start is with safe mode.

Can anyone help me solve this problem? This problem has happened before, but it would always start after I turned my laptop on/off a couple times. This time, it seems nothing is working. :(

Thanks in advance.

In Safe Mode open My Computer, then right click your C drive and choose properties, tolls, error checking and then settings and put check marks in both boxes there. Then reboot and allow checkdisk to run and it should fix that.

Okay, thanks a lot. I'll try that again if it happens. I just did a system restore and it fixed the problem.

OK there is another thought.....how about marling the thread "solved" in "thread tools" up top.
